The Order of the Moccasin

Of the Chattanooga Valley, early settler Andy Williams wrote “The spies that Moses sent to search the land of Canaan could not have found a more beautiful valley, with everything to sustain life either growing or running wild in the woods.”  Inhabiting Southeastern Tennessee, in transition between the Cumberland Plateau and Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians, The Order of the Moccasin reveres the land as a Divine Gift to our forebears and our posterity. We accept the solemn duty of safeguarding the inheritance entrusted to us for the flourishing of our people and the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
