The Vetus Dominium Chapter

“..Rally behind the Virginians!” -Gen. Barnard Elliott Bee Jr. at First Manassas

Flag

It is only fitting that the home of the first of the Thirteen Colonies is also the birthplace of the first chartered branch of the Old Glory Club. The Virginia Chapter, officially the Vetus Dominium (Old Dominion) Club, is proud to represent and promote the ideals of the Old Glory Club throughout our historic and beautiful commonwealth. Our members devote themselves to being productive and active members of civic society, and can be found from the marshes of the Tidewater, to the streets of Richmond, to the Blue Ridge reaches of the Shenandoah and beyond.

Virginia is unique in its richness of natural beauty and historic significance and our members are active in maintaining the memory of our state’s crucial involvement in some of the most influential eras of American history. Whether conducting staff rides of our numerous Revolutionary and Civil War battlefields, engaging in acts of community service and civic involvement, or merely organizing time for fellowship and enjoying the natural beauty of our state, the Old Dominion Chapter of the OGC prides itself in leading by example and setting the standard for future chapters to follow. With our common faith in the Christian God and allegiance to the country of our forefathers, the Old Dominion Chapter stands ready to advocate for the American People and their Traditions, Folkways, and Future.
